I was initially unfamiliar with the brand Christophe Coppens. When I laid my eyes on the fabulous necklace, I began to learn information about it. Christophe Coppens the versatile man was born in Belgium in 1969 and trained as a theatre director and actor. Besides, he is best known as the hat designer for the Belgium royalty and his brilliance in expression. He produces two men’s and women’s collections per year (consisting of scarves, hats, gloves, jewellery, leather goods, ties, cufflinks, and so on), which are currently sold in Japan, the US, Europe and Hong Kong. Here I would like to present his design since I am really surprised toward the necklace labeled the ‘misfit’ signature. As everybody knows, there is fit or misfit in fashion industry, and we naturally refuse the misfit style. It is clear that it is the style detached from content.
In fact, Christophe Coppens added fit design into the misfit necklace. First the letter necklace is originally in vogue. What’s more, the combination of black and white makes is so classic that you will never find hard to fit. From this point of view, you can just consider Misfit as Missfit. I like the nonmetallic material. This time, let rock adds loveliness. Fit or misfit, nevertheless, if we think the Misfit Letter Necklace is fit, then it is.
